I became interested in politics in 2019. My interest is sustainable development and in particular solving global environmental problems. I’m a member of the Vantaa City Council. I’m currently on the board of Academic Engineers and Architects in Finland (TEK). I believe that good policy needs to be based on science and knowledge, cooperation, and a long-term view.
I am 48 years old and live in Myyrmäki with my family. I have been active in local sports clubs and consider their work valuable for society. Cycling is one of my favorite hobbies – it’s fun and a useful way to move around for me, but it’s also one of the best modes of transport for a sustainable world.
